Falling prices and ever-improving photoprint make color lasers attractive even for small offices and home use. Even cheap devices for around 200 euros offer much quality and speed. As a result, the color laser increasingly dominates the inkjet printer. The biggest advantage for occasional users: There is no dried ink and no clogged nozzles in laser printers.
Buying advice: The right color laser printer
When choosing a color laser, first consider how intensively you will use the printer. In the case of rarely used devices, the print price per page plays a subordinate role, the purchase price is more important. Because rarely used devices have to warm up before printing, the time required is also important. Also, be sure to use stand-by, as the printer will "stand around" most of the time. In the case of intensively used printers - as is usually the case in companies - this is exactly the opposite of these factors.

Color laser printers are ideal for printing texts and illustrations. Less quality is the quality of digital prints. If you frequently print photos and expect good quality, you should also invest in an appropriate color laser, if you do not want an inkjet printer or a professional photoprint service.
