What is missing is 1-click optimization, or at least an assistant that helps the user to optimize the system.
PowerUp XP offers a huge number of functions: all spyware functions in Windows XP can be switched off and the paths of important programs and folders can be changed. This goes all the way to classic tuning measures. But this is precisely the problem: an optimization assistant or even a list of suggestions to speed up the PC, one looks in vain. The program is particularly suitable for advanced users who know what they want. Only for this is the integrated "function editor", which allows practically arbitrary commands and integrates them into the program interface for easier operation. The additional programs on the CD have to be emphasized as well as the possibility to store and restore different profiles. In this way, changes can also be easily canceled.
