Via Powerline technology, the Netgear Powerline Music Extender XAUB2511 receives music signals and sends them to players. Owners of iPhones or iPads, for example, simply click on the AirPlay icon and select the Powerline adapter as the playback device. Owners of Android smartphones install the free app Twonky Mobile, which also supports AirPlay.
But that's not all: even printers with a USB port can be connected to this network with this adapter. The media extender app must be installed on the computer. As is the case with Powerline solutions, it is also easy to send network data from one adapter to another at a maximum of 200 Mbps.
