Once again, Bose brings home cinema to the point. In addition to the wireless-controlled small Acoustimass subwoofer, a controller – the switching center for innumerable feeders – and a narrow, barely one meter wide speaker array are part of the set. No less than seven analogue and four digital audio inputs as well as four HDMI and two USB inputs allow more than enough access to the control console. An FM and AM tuner are integrated, while the package also includes a docking station for iPhone and iPod.
Five soundbars in the test
The connection is exemplary solved. Boses Unify Intelligent Integration System runs on screen step by step through the setup process. This includes the adaptation of the AdaptiQ measurement system, which optimizes the Lifestyle 135 for the listening room.
Apropos optimized: In the listening test the small components prove that one does not need discrete 5.1 sets actually. In addition to low bass capability, the Multitalent shows a wide stage that sometimes reaches almost to the audience. The tonally broadly balanced and, above all, unrestricted playback makes the Bose-Kombi a playful all-round sound for home cinema and music playback.
