Nvidia’s Geforce GTX 1050 (Ti): Now available for testing at the CES in Las Vegas.
Nvidia introduced two new graphics processors this week. It is the notebook versions of the two chips GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050. The chips are now available in current laptops from different manufacturers. The mobile version of the GeForce GTX 1050 can access 4 instead of 2 GB VRAM. The Ti variant offers 4 GB in both versions - as desktop graphics card as well as in notebooks.
According to Nvidia, the GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti deliver up to three times more power and energy efficiency than the direct predecessor (entry-level chips of the Geforce GTX 900M series). The next-generation graphics processors GeForce GTX 1080, 1070 and 1060 were introduced in August last year. Like Nvidia, Nvidia also provides the 1050 chips for professional gaming screenshots, the Anselon Photography tool Ansel.
