Apple quarterly figures: sales figures for iPhone 6 & iPad Air 2

Apple’s current quarterly results: The company’s total revenue rose 12.4 percent to $ 42.1 billion in the third quarter of 2017, and the Californians were also able to grow by 12.7 percent to $ 8.5 billion in Reingewinn

As in the previous quarters, the sales figures for Phone and iPad developed very differently during the period under review. Apple reported surprisingly good numbers on the iPhone. 39.27 million iPhones were sold, although the new models iPhone 6 (Test) and iPhone 6 Plus (Test) (each connect.de) were only available for nine days in the reporting period.

Furthermore it does not go well with the iPad. Apple sold only 12.3 million iPads and iPad minis in the past quarter. A year earlier, it was 14.1 million iPads in the same period. As a result, the current sales figures were 12.8 percent lower than in the same period of the previous year.

In his reports, Apple does not show details on the individual models. Notes on the sales figures for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, however, can be found in an analysis of Localytics, which analyze the use of apps by iPhones. As a result, there are currently six times as many iPhone 6 as iPhone 6 Plus, as reported by PhoneArena.

A comparison with the figures a year ago suggests that the iPhone 6 sold very well, significantly better than the iPhone 5s in the previous period. The current share of the iPhone 6 on the iPhones used today is clearly higher than one year ago the share of the then introduced iPhone 5s

The strongest percentage growth in the past quarter Apple reported in the Mac sales. They rose 21 percent to 5.5 million units, as Reuters reported.
