The zoom factor, by the way, is only a relative indication, which represents the multiplicator of the smallest wide angle setting, converted to the small picture format. The X-S1 has a converted focal length of 24-624 mm. The zoom factor of 26-fold results from the ratio of these two values. Check yourself by dividing 624 by 24. So if you want a camera that has a good wide-angle, then automatically skip the top tele focal range with the same zoom factor. This should be taken into account in the camera selection.

The fact that you can zoom in with a super-zoom camera very close to the photo shoot is great. But it also carries the risk of shaking.
