Hackers have paralyzed the website chase.com of the US bank JPMorgan Chase with targeted attacks. As the bank communicated, the web financial portal was not reachable for countless customers for hours. Who is behind the attacks is not known.
As various media reports suggest, the website has been overloaded with DDOS (Denial of Service) attacks. In this case, servers are bombarded at the secondary level with several requests until they no longer react.
Meanwhile, the said website is running again. The current attack is another attack on US banks in recent weeks. The Bank of America, Citigroup and the Federal Reserve US Reserve were also attacked according to their own announcements.
In addition, more and more government agencies have recently been hacked. The US, for example, suspects China behind the attacks. They are arguing about this and are again responsible for attacks on their own systems.
