Samsung Galaxy S3 rooting

Before you can do the “Rooting”, ie the operating system is switched on, the USB debugging mode has to be activated on the smartphone. In the Settings, select the Developer Options and enable the USB Debugging option. In addition, you must import the drivers that are required to contact the computer. Two options are open: Samsung Kies or the USB drivers.

Now download the required files as a zip archive from the web and unpack it. The tool you need to flash the kernel of your smartphone is called Odin3. Download the latest version of XDA-Developers.com adapted for Samsung Galaxy S III.

Turn off the smartphone and then start it in download mode by holding down the Silent + Home + On / Off button until the warning message appears. Press the Lauter key to continue. Unzip the archive, start Odin3 v3.07.exe with administrator rights and connect the smartphone to the computer via USB cable. Odin3 recognizes the device and displays the message Added in the message window.

The only option that can be enabled in Odin3 is AutoReboot. Click PDA, browse to the folder where you unpacked the archive in step 1, select the TAR file, and then click Open. After clicking Start, the root process begins. In the message window, read what happens. If everything has worked out, the tool logs in with the message PASS to word and the smartphone starts automatically.
