Vuze (Azureus) Download

The BitTorrent protocol developed by Bram Cohen was once conceived as a system for the rapid spreading of large files. Even today, software vendors use the BitTorrent network to distribute ISO files, such as live Linux CDs and open source software. BitTorrent is the most frequently used file sharing system worldwide. The meta file with the ending.torrent contains a unique ID (hash) containing information about the file itself and the download address. The download sources are hosted by a tracker, which must be available for each torrent file and whose address is permanently saved in the torrent. The tracker makes it possible for a client to find the respective data file at all. If the torrent is opened with a client such as Vuze, the download of the actual data file starts. Among the users of a torrent, a distinction is made between “peer” and “seed”. Peer refers to a client that is still at the store. Seeds are users who have already fully loaded the data file specified in the torrent and only offer it as a source for the peers. At least one seed is required to successfully complete the transfer. A recommended client for using the BitTorrent network is Vuze. The biggest advantage of the BitTorrent client Vuze is at the same time its biggest disadvantage: For reasons of platform independence, the program is programmed in Java. The Java Runtime Environment must also be installed to use. Thus the system resources are loaded not only by the client, but also by the Java component. For this reason, it is recommended to use only users whose Java system is already in use. Apart from this, Vuze has proven itself in practice. Practical: After the first start, the user can use his? Experience level? specify. Who is looking for? Beginners? Does not have to deal with complex settings. The basic handling is simple, creating your own .torrent files is also possible. It is interesting that Azureus can be extended by plug-ins. These extras can be found directly from the software on the web. For experienced users and BitTorrent professionals, Vuze is a very good choice. Hardly a second tool offers more configuration options, with which the maximum of performance can be tickled out. Note: BitTorrent tools? Also Vuze? Are legal programs. You may download and use them from the web without your being a criminal offense. Only if you use the tools, however, to download copyrighted or even illegal content, you become a criminal offense. So it always depends on what you load over BitTorrent.
