Fujifilm Finepix XP200 / S8400W: Now with WLAN

Thanks to the integrated WLAN module, both the new XP200 and S8400W Finepix models allow the wireless transmission of photos and videos on smartphones, tablets or computers. For this, only the “Fujifilm Camera Application” on a smartphone or tablet or the “Fujifilm PC AutoSave” software must be installed on the PC.

Price and availability

The Finepix XP200 with a new 16 megapixel CMOS and a fully integrated 3.9-4.9 / 28-140mm zoom is dust-protected, water-resistant to 15 m depth, infinitely up to 2 m high and frost-resistant to -10 ° C . Action recordings with 10 B / s at full resolution can be started at any time via a special key, as well as full HD videos (1080i60). The new case design is designed to provide secure grip even with wet hands or ski gloves. Unfortunately, the XP200 does not provide the GPS function of the previous XP150.

Specifications

The Finepix S8400W is equipped with an electronic viewfinder, as well as the manual time and aperture settings as well as automatic exposure sequences, as is the case with the S8500, which is the same as the WLAN function and 44x instead of 46x zoom. A zoom button directly on the lens controls three zoom speeds for full HD videos. Fujifilm emphasizes the short switch-on and AF times of the S8400W as well as the picture series with 10 B / s at full resolution as well as additional high-speed functions.

At the end of April the Fujifilm Finepix XP200 will be available at a price of 250 Euros and the S8400W at a price of 300 Euros.
