If you want to install a new app, a list of the requested permissions appears before the download starts. Only when you confirm this, the app can be downloaded. Stay skeptical when an app wants to have a lot of permissions. Especially if these are not directly related to the functions of the app.

If an app is already installed, open the "Settings" menu for information, select "Manage apps", and select the app that you want to learn more about. Scroll down to see the app's permissions.

In our gallery, we will show you which app permissions you should always be vigilant, as they can severely affect your privacy.
