Microsoft extends the Xbox Live Reward program

The Xbox Live Program rewards the loyalty of the Xbox 360 and Xbox One players. So that customers continue to rely on the Microsoft consoles, the manufacturer has revised the rewards program. Previously, the program was based solely on Gamescore points: by reaching new levels, calculated by the game progress, the rewards program gave players discounts on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Also interesting is

The new Xbox Live Reward Program now extends to all content that can be purchased from the official Xbox Live Store. The individual levels and discounts are no longer dependent on the Gamescore, but on the money you spend on the Xbox Store. If you spend more money, you will be paid higher.

Also new are the introduced VIP levels, which are expressed in five stars. For each of the five levels, you'll receive a one percent discount on purchases in the Xbox Live Store. The larger the sum over the year, the higher is the own VIP level.

In addition, the VIP level can be increased by participating in discount campaigns or surveys. Xbox Live Gold members save twice as much at the individual levels - overall, there are discounts of up to 10 percent. So-called point cards, for which certain actions must be executed, also increase the level. After logging into Xbox Live Rewards, you can start collecting points.
