For many users, the insertion of screen images, which are also called screen shots, are connected with considerable circumstance. These are, for example, required to send an error message or to create a brief user manual. The key combinations “Druck” and “Alt + Druck” have been largely unknown for years, and the Snipping Tool, introduced with Windows Vista, is not very well-known.


Screenshot Captor creates a snapshot of the current Windows screen by mouse click or by pressing a button. Users can capture the entire desktop even over two screens - but it does not. Individual windows, marked dialogs or freely defined areas can also be recorded.


Thanks to Autoscroll, Screenshot Captor also protects your windows and web pages. After photographing, the user can comprehensively edit the screenshots. This allows areas to be erased or emphasized from the image. Arrows and annotations can also be used or dimmed image areas. You can put the finished screenshot into the clipboard, print it out, or save it as a file in the formats JPEG, GIF, TIFF or PNG
