After the creation of objects, they often have to be connected to one another. When you create the connection with lines and move an element, you must manually traverse the line. Facilitate the work by using the object connector instead of a line. Then the connections to the individual elements are “glued”. As soon as you move an element, the connection adapts automatically. When connecting, you only have to make sure that you connect the connection lines to one of the points on the object.
DRAW: Join elements
During a presentation, it is sometimes useful to temporarily hide the shown slide. Then the attention is removed from the slide and the participants pay attention again to you or to what you have to say.
IMPRESS: Hide current presentation slide
There are two ways to hide a slide during the presentation. Touch the [W] or [Comma] on the keyboard to display a white background instead of your slide. Pressing the button again displays the original slide.
CALC: Force line break within cell
If you prefer to display a black background instead of the white background, press [B] or [Dot]. Here, too, the original film is displayed again by tapping the button again.
Some content in a cell can be quite long. This makes tables quickly confusing. In such a case, you should perform a line break within a cell and then reduce the column width.
Click with the right mouse button in the desired cell. In the context menu that appears, select Format Cells. The dialog window of the same name is displayed. In this dialog box, select the Orientation tab.
In the Properties pane, click the Automatic line break check box. Click OK to execute the line break in the cell. If necessary, reduce the column width and increase the line height. You can use the command format, column, or line to create the commands.
