The Windows 10 release candidate could be presented in May. In the case of software development, this is the test version of a program which largely corresponds to the final version. All features are implemented, all known security gaps have been plugged. Just this version promises us the well-known Windows Leaker “WZor” on Twitter, the presentation is to take place at the Microsoft’s own technology conference Ignite
The Microsoft trade fair will take place from 4 to 8 May 2017 in Chicago, USA. Ignite is usually dominated by companies, educational institutions, and other organizations, and includes several Microsoft events, such as TechED, Microsoft Management Summit, and other conferences. Whether Microsoft the RC test version of Windows 10 actually presented early May, remains to be seen. The time is most appropriate when you consider that Microsoft users will be able to try the Technical Preview until mid-April. According to another report, the delivery of Windows 10 to PC manufacturers is scheduled to start in July, and Microsoft's new operating system could appear in August.
The appointment also fits in so far that Microsoft in the past already released the release Candidates of Windows 7 and Windows 8 in the period from April to May. We will keep you posted.
Since October 1, 2017, Windows 10 is available for download as a technical preview. Users can use it to test their way to the next Windows, test features, report problems, and then send feedback to the development department of Microsoft.
The system can be tested by 15 April 2017. In our FAQ about the Windows 10 Technical Preview, we answer questions about the system requirements of the beta version, give tips on downloading, installing, and more.
