Microsoft is currently sending invitations to selected testers for the closed beta program for the upcoming Office 2017 – internally called Office 16. Those who want to participate in the so-called Office16 Technical Preview, had to register themselves on Microsoft’s side of the pre-release program. The Office beta version is not yet to contain all the features and functions of the final Office 2017. In addition, Microsoft warns about the use of the product because there are a lot of bugs in the beta version and there may be crashes.
Business-related sources speak of a release date for Office 2017 in the spring of 2017. The new SharePoint Server and Exchange Server, on the other hand, could still be launched in 2017. According to a blog entry by Jeffrey Teper (Office Corporate Vice President), Microsoft plans to maintain the release rhythm of two to three years on SharePoint Server and Exchange Server.
Just a few days ago, Microsoft launched the open beta test for Windows 10. In contrast to the closed test, everyone can participate in the Windows test, as long as the hardware of his PC or notebook is suitable for it. You can download Technology Preview Windows 10 for free on the Windows Insider Program website.
