Tablets in Business-Use: Kaufberatung

What has proven itself on the sofa at home can not be quite wrong in working life. The fact that more and more tablets are going on business trips is not really surprising. After all, they are not only very light and handy but multifunctional and powerful. If you’re on the road, you’ll be looking for a small mobile all-rounder rather than a heavy notebook bag. Current sales figures for these device classes make the trend towards mobile tablets very good. While the sales figures of PCs and notebooks are continually falling, tablets and convertibles are becoming increasingly popular. According to IDC market researchers, 60.6 million computers were sold worldwide in the first quarter of 2017, a decrease of 11.5 percent compared to the same quarter last year.

The analysts of Gartner also come to similar conclusions. They estimate that the PC market in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) declined by almost 10 percent in the first quarter. IDCs market researchers believe that the PC market will grow by 16.6 million (in 2017) sold devices to 63.8 million because of the high demand on hybrid devices. According to analysts, the tablet market is expected to develop into larger devices. Market researchers in Trendforce also see an increase of 10 percent for Tablet PCs with display sizes of 11 inches and larger in the first quarter of 2017. In addition to Apple's iPad Pro, Microsoft's Surface or the Media Pad from Huawei should be among the winners in the tablet area.
