1. To activate WPS on the WLAN router, first press the WPS key on the outside of the device.

2. Within the next two minutes, press the WPS button on the wireless adapter.
3. For some WLAN sticks, WPS is not activated on the adapter itself, but via a button in the access software of the WLAN adapter.
4. A short time later the secure encrypted connection is established between the wireless router and the adapter.
