7Zip
7Zip is an open-source packer, which also has its own format 7z in addition to the usual archive formats ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, GZIP and TAR. 7Zip allows for a stronger compression compared to traditional archive types.
Depending on the data to be archived, 7Zip shrinks the original files up to a third of their original size. Compared to the ZIP and RAR competing formats, 7Zip usually remains up to 20 percent below the archive size achieved with WinRAR or WinZip.
