WhatsApp: Google plans to take over for a billion dollars

The popular Messenger for Android phones, WhatsApp, has been the subject of takeover rumors for some time. As insiders want to know, has been roughly negotiated for five weeks between Google and WhatsApp, with the price now approaching the one billion dollar mark. Google will see the takeover of the popular mobile messenger as a logical addition to the Google program, which is not yet a powerful mobile messaging solution.

WhatsApp is not the first time subject to takeover rumors. Facebook should also have expressed interest in the mobile SMS replacement. If there is actually a sale of the widespread messaging service to Google, then it is to be assumed that WhatsApp in its current form is no longer forwarded and instead is integrated into the Google Babble area.
