Server bottleneck: E-mails from GMail to GMX do not arrive

The mail traffic between Gmail and GMX had several problems in the past days. Thus, numerous GMail users report that mails to GMX addresses do not increase or arrive after a long wait.

The attempt to send mail from GMail to Gmail usually ended with the error message "451 - Requested Action aborted, Transaction limit reached". The message suggested that the GMX mail server did not accept the program.

Error codes from series 400 are of a temporary nature. Therefore, the mail program still attempts to deliver the e-mails. Only after a few days the delivery attempt breaks off and finally fails.

According to user reports, previously rejected emails could be easily sent via the webmailer. However, the workaround did not work for everyone - some GMail users could not send e-mails to GMX via the webmailer.

The problem has now been repaired. According to Sebastian Schulte, press-author of GMX, there was on the side of GMail a bottleneck, which however now was eliminated. In addition, the mails are not lost, but would only be delayed. The system is currently working on broadcasts.
