The cable network company Unitymedia has increased its prices for the pure cable connection by about 11 percent. This is reported by users in the official forum of the company and expresses their displeasure about the lack of justification.
The affected customers were informed about the change in prices by mail. Thus the fees for the pure cable connection were increased from 18.90 euros to 20.99. An official statement from Unitymedia is still pending.
The website of Unitymedia also points to a price increase for new customers: After February 29, the prices for all users will rise. In addition, an activation fee of 39.99 euros is added for the contract with a minimum term of one year.
