Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro Black Edition review

To put it briefly: Playing with 4K resolution is not possible on the Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro Black Edition with current games. The Ge-Force GTX 860M in the Aspire V 15 Nitro is not fast enough. There is currently not a single 1.600-euro notebook, which would deliver enough 3D performance. For games you have to be content with Full HD.

ACER ASPIRE V 15 NITRO BLACK EDITION

The Acer notebook Aspire V 15 Nitro Black Edition can shine with pictures or films in Ultra-HD resolution: The matte 15.6-inch IPS panel delivers rich colors and a crisp image. The notebook also benefits from its fast Core i7-4710HQ and the 16 GB RAM.

Other highlights of the Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro Black Edition are the SSD with 256 GB capacity and the spacious 2-TB HDD for data. The system performance of the mobile computer is very good with 5851 points in the PCMark 7, the battery life can not convince with just over two hours. The black housing is made of plastic, but is solid. A malus is the clattering, non-configurable touchpad.

Conclusion

The strength of the fast Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro Black Edition is in photos and videos with 4K resolution. But also games in Full HD run fast. However, the battery life could be better.
