Get the best from Adobe's Spark CC: How it works

Spark, the new free web service from Adobe, gives the user many possibilities to work creatively with image, text and sound. At the same time, impressive projects such as promo videos or attractive websites are created with little effort. The installation of a large program package is not necessary for this - Spark runs completely in the web browser.

The user gets all the tools under one roof with uniform operation. He does not have to switch between different online services. Spark-produced graphics and videos can later be incorporated into websites that Adobe hosts on the Spark platform. Social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter share the same content.

For this, a share function exists, or you load the data from its computer to the platforms. In the page module, the web address can be sent via email or social media to other people. The pages are prepared for display on desktop browsers and mobile devices. Context-sensitive design automatically adapts the web pages to the format of the target device. When creating the content, wizards and functions help. The use of the three modules is similar. The preview for the picture, video or web page is located on the left side of the program window. On the right side of the page you can access the functions and their settings.

A login is necessary to work with Spark in the web browser or with the mobile apps. You can register for an Adobe ID for free. Owners of an account for the Adobe Creative Cloud use the existing account. In addition, there is the possibility to opt for the login by Facebook or Google. After activating Adobe Spark on one of the two social media platforms, the browser automatically switches to Spark. The system dashboard appears. The user will find practical examples of the three modules. Spark shows later his own projects.

To create a new document, either click on the yellow button with the plus sign or open the menu at the upper left (Hamburger icon with the three bars). The results are shared by the user via the preview images in the dashboard or directly in the editing mode via the menu at the top of the window. To rename or delete a project, move the mouse to the preview image in the Dashboard. Clicking on the circle in the upper right corner of the thumbnail opens a menu with the appropriate functions. In addition, videos and graphics can also be loaded onto the local computer, or a shared website with Unpublish can be made invisible by the visitors.
