Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 in the test

If you are Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 starts, you can not be surprised. Instead of snotty menus, players are thrown into a hub where you can move freely. Each party has a base, the combat area between them.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 - Scope

There, enemy waves can be activated, chests can be found with goodies, and the multiplayer matches can also be entered from the hub. First of all: Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, like the first part, is a multiplayer match game. The hub is also the lobby at the same time. Basically, the game principle has not done much. OK then. Still, the player has the choice whether he is on the side of the zombies or rather on the side of the plants beats. For soloists (internet connection still needed!) There are smaller repetitive missions, in which coins and sticker packages can be earned.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 - Balancing

As in the first part, the character classes, the Plants, Zombies: Make Garden Warfare 2 so special. In addition to foot soldiers, all-stars, scientists and engineers, peasants, sunflowers, snappers and cacti, there are now three more classes per faction: Zitron, Rosie and Major Maize in the plants and cubs, Super Brainz and Käpt'n Totbart in the zombies. Citron is e.g. A real Allron, while Super Brainz is a melee expert. Good: The balance can be seen. All skills intertwine wonderfully and distinguish the classes refreshingly.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 - Search Tower

Even if the game with the maximum number of players (24) partly quite confusing, both beginners and professionals have their real pleasure here. Quasi everything in the game is extremely entertaining. The many reward systems and career opportunities are addictive. The "only one game" feeling starts almost immediately. In addition, there are smaller orders (heal a certain number of plants or do a certain boss). Rewards can be used to open special chests in the hub. Everything fits in wonderfully and makes Garden Warfare 2 a real fun.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 - Conclusion

Beginners, advanced and professionals feel at Garden Warfare 2 really well cared for. The game is entertaining, looks really great, offers a fascinating level system and unfolds an enormous pulling effect after only a few matches. Criticism? There is hardly any. Well done, Popcap and EA!
