Privacy alarm or a sensible step into a healthier refinancing Internet offer? The Mozilla Foundation has introduced Suggested Tiles, a new feature for the Firefox browser. This is primarily a feature for advertisers to play online ads on the “New Tab” tab of the Mozilla browser.
The next code of privacy?
In order for the user to see relevant, ie, personalized, advertising, and companies can earn more than just "Views", Firefox will use Suggested Tiles on the browser history and the user's surfing habits Br>
Why Suggested Tiles?
What's going on at the first moment, as if the next wave of data privacy is already in the door, could not be so bad at all: provided the Mozilla Foundation adheres to the announced framework.
When is it?
After all, whether advertisers collect their data from an opaque construct of cookies and purchased user information - not to mention the controversial Facebook buttons - or use the same history, remains the same for the first time. The advantage of the Mozilla solution lies in the control over the data to be evaluated, which should remain with the user. In addition, Firefox will only display the customized ad when the user opens a new, blank tab. Web pages should not be affected.

The adapted advertisements in the "New tab" tab should be deactivated with two clicks in the settings of the new browser window. If the user activates "Suggested Tiles", personal data (evaluation of the history) are only transferred anonymously and bundled. These data should neither be stored nor passed on. The use of cookies for future reuse is expressly waived.
Suggested Tiles is intended to show that it is possible to generate relevant advertising for the user but still protect his or her privacy. Mozilla assures in the corresponding blog entry that the user retains control of the ads. The history is solely for the user. If he is not interested, he can simply disable the feature. A Mozilla infographics is intended to illustrate how the user's data will be used in the future.

This is, after all, more transparent than text deserts of small-scale usage conditions, which offer hardly any or no means of withdrawing from the work of certain scientific data-carriers.
Suggested Tiles is scheduled to start in the beta test phase. In the summer the start is to follow in the USA. The tests will show whether the feature will make it into the future versions of Firefox and thus also to the United States.
