Evoli are a monster in Pokémon GO. Because they can be improved in the strong further developments Blitza, Aquana and Flamara. Annoyingly only: the further development happens seemingly random and can not be influenced - at least one thought so far.

Now a Pokémon GO player has found a hidden trick and published on reddit, with which Evolis can be targeted. You must give the Pokémon a certain nickname before you develop it.

But what names are they? The answer is hidden in the old episode "The Unequal Brothers" from Season 1 of the Pokémon series. There are the Evoli brothers, four Pokémon coaches, three of whom are evolving Evoli: Blitza, Aquana or Flamara. Only the youngest brother still has an undeveloped Evoli. The names of the three older brothers - Sparky, Rainer and Pyro - are the nicknames sought.

Note: Nicknames given to his Pokémon are only visible to one himself. If they are put into an arena, they appear there under their normal name. A "Sparky", for example, would still be displayed as "Evoli."


Whoever has the necessary 25 sweets for evoli development and has opted for one of the three further developments should, however, be sure to have a suitable level. Because the higher the player level, the better the new Pokémon. The same is true for power-ups. Experienced players therefore advise to wait with developments and power-ups from strong Pokémon to about level 20 or higher. Each Pokémon has a "move" and a "charge move". However, these can be of different strengths and should therefore be taken into account in Evoli development.

If one compares the different values, an Aquana with the water attacks Aquaknarre and Hydropumpe would be the strongest Evoli-development. Of course it can still make sense to develop Flamara or Blitza to counter other Pokémon in the arena and not just depend on Aquana's water attacks.


After the question, whether Aquana, Blitza or Flamara is to be developed, it is worthwhile to determine the strongest Evoli in the own collection. This can either be roughly done through the reviews directly in Pokémon GO or detailed through an analysis of IV values.
