With BitDisk Free, you protect your PC against data loss and system changes. Each time the system is restarted, the computer is automatically reset to its original state. To help prevent Windows from unwanted changes while you experiment with the system, try sharing your PC with other users, or try new software.
When BitDisk Free is installed, it creates a virtual image of the current system state in the first step. The partition to be considered can be either the system drive with a Windows installation or a pure data drive. For effective use, however, it is recommended to select the partition that contains the operating system. In this case, BitDisk Free saves the entire system partition, including all installed applications. Depending on the disk size, the initial creation of the system image may take some time.
From now on, your operating system is protected against unintentional changes and data loss. For example, if you have a newly installed software problem, or if you have a virus infected with the last download, restart the system and everything is the same again. If you would like to permanently apply changes, these will be copied to the virtual image as desired. In addition to BitDisk Free, the manufacturer also offers a version that is priced with advanced features.
The manufacturer's website provides information on the differences between BitDisk Free and BitDisk Pro.
