League of Legends is a free, fast, competitive online game that combines the speed and intensity of real-time strategy with role-playing elements. Two teams of powerful champions, each with a unique design and style, face each other head-to-head in multiple battlefields and game modes.
In the last two years, the competition in League of Legends has grown enormously. For example, the winners of last year's World Cup were able to receive a $ 1 million prize in front of the stomping backdrop of the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The constant change of the game through updates and individuality offer a high replay value - the number of 27 million active players every day and about 150 million accounts (as of 01/2014) confirm this.
