Netflix announced the first two signposts under the series via Twitter. Fargo is a miniserie who tells a story of police officers and criminals in ten episodes. The series that plays in Minnesota can include actors such as Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton.

The series "Orange is the new Black" is an own production of Netflix. "Weeds" creator Jenji Kohan developed the series based on a book of the same name. The focus is on Piper (Taylor Schilling), who works as a manager in New York and is planning the wedding with her fiance Larry (Jason Biggs). One day, however, she is sentenced to 15 months' imprisonment for money laundering, which she committed ten years ago. The third season is currently being produced in the US.

The famous series "House of Cards" will not offer Netflix in the United States, the channel Sky Atlantic HD has acquired the American rights. The rights to series are marketed in the USA from the production studio to the individual countries and language regions and not by the broadcaster itself.
