Dell XPS 11 in the test

In addition to the Dell XPS 12, the 1150 euro expensive XPS 11 is now the second hybrid notebook. Its high-quality 11.6-inch display delivers an extremely high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is similar to the yogas of Lenovo with a double hinge attached to the chassis and can be folded down completely by 360 degrees. Since the keyboard in this mode is on the bottom of the resulting tablet, Dell uses a touch keyboard instead of conventional keys. Although this is insensitive and even equipped with background lighting, it is very difficult to get used to by the lack of a key stroke when typing.

The keyboard is very flat with an Intel Core i5-4210Y and a fast 256-gigabyte SSD. In the PCMark 7, the XPS 11 achieves a good 3897 points. The 3D performance is neat with 2764 points in the 3DMark for an 11.6 inch hybrid device and is enough for simpler 3D games. The GP-4200 GPU is integrated into the processor. The battery life of the XPS 11, weighing only 1.13 kg, is good with 4.5 hours under load.
