For example, for a slide show on the monitor, you want to cut whole series of photos in Photoshop to 16: 9 and more prominently. Then you want to refine individual images.
Step 1: Select together
In the Photoshop image management bridge, you can select the images by holding down the Ctrl key (on the Mac, just like the Cmd key) - use JPEG or raw files as you like. Use Ctrl-R to load the images into the Raw dialog. At the top left, click "Select All" so you can now edit all recordings together.
Step 2: Edit together
Tip: If you switch the Raw dialog to the full screen mode with the F key, the photo can be optimally assessed.
Step 3: Refine Single
Click longer on the release tool at the top and set the aspect ratio 16: 9. Drag a selection frame - all images appear cropped. Highlight the values for clarity and dynamics to emphasize sharpness and colors.
Step 4: Apply
Tip: The settings for the Photoshop release tool are also available by right-clicking in the selection. You can change the aspect ratio here or cancel the exemption completely.
On the left side of the movie, click a picture that you want to refine individually. For example, adjust the image cutout and double-click the release frame to confirm it. Also refine the contrast for this recording. Then click on the next picture and make it permanent.
Tip: See the superfluous image on the left side of the Raw dialog, click the thumbnail, and press the Backspace or Remove button. The thumbnail now shows a red X. As soon as you close the Raw dialog, Bridge will move the photo file to the Recycle Bin
You could now click "Done" at the bottom right. The images appear in Bridge, Photoshop and Lightroom already changed - good for slide show, web gallery or PDF catalog from Bridge out. All changes can be reworked at any time, since the original pixels remain intact.
However, if you want to edit the photos correctly in other programs or send them by e-mail, you can create new JPEG files that display all edits directly: Click on "Select all" on the upper left, then "Save images" . In the Format pop-up menu, set JPEG.
Tip: You have already clicked on "Done", but would like to create JPEG-versions of the edited files, which reproduce all changes immediately? Select the images, then the command "Tools, Photoshop, Image Processor" follows. You can also calculate the new variants, for example for e-mails.
You have changed an image in the Raw dialog and now want to transfer these corrections to further creatives. If you select the changed image, the "Edit, Development settings, Copy camera raw settings" command follows in Bridge.
Now select the other photos and take "Edit, Development settings, Insert Camera Raw settings". In the next dialog, you can specify which Photoshop operations you are transferring - for example, Contrast, Sharpness, but also the Image Cut (Freeze) or Local Retouch.
Tip: Should Bridge display the changed image again in its original state? Highlight it and select "Edit, Development Settings, Delete Settings."
Step 5: Transfer changes
