To crack iPhone 4, iPhone 3G (S) and iPad 1

Here you will learn …… how to crack your iPhone 4, 3G (S) or iPad … what software you need for it

Step 1: Open iTunes

If you have an iPhone 4, iPhone 3G or 3GS or an iPad 1, you need the RedsnOw tool for the jailbreak, the procedure is the same for each of these devices. The current version can be found on the Redsn0w page at the bottom of the box, both for Windows and Mac OS.

Step 2: Create a backup

Open iTunes and download and install the latest version of iTunes using Help / Search for updates.

Step 3: Download the latest firmware

Connect the iPhone to your computer and right-click on your iPhone / iPad's entry. From the context menu, select Backup to create an automatic backup.

Step 4: Start Redsn0w

Go to getios.com and download the latest firmware version 5.0.1 for your iPhone 4.

Unpack and start Redsn0w, click Tools, and then click the Select IPSW menu item

Now select the previously downloaded firmware file, confirm the selection with Open and go back to the main menu using the Back button.

Clicking the jailbreak button starts the analysis of the downloaded firmware. In the next window, you have the options to be taken into account when installing the jailbreak. Select the Install Cydia menu item to install the alternative app store with the same name, and click Next

Turn your iPhone completely off and connect it to your computer with the original cable. You can turn off your iPhone by holding down the power button in the upper right corner, then dragging the slider to the right on the display.

If the iPhone is off, click the Next button on Redsn0w. Redsn0w will display the steps to be executed simultaneously, counting backward in seconds: Press and hold the power button (Step 1), and press it after three seconds Press the Home button and keep both buttons pressed together for about 10 seconds (step 2).

Your iPhone switches to DFU mode in this way. Then release the power button and hold down the Home button for an additional 15 seconds (step 3). Redsn0w starts now the several minutes lasting Jailbreak. If the word Done appears in the Redsn0w window, the jailbreak was successful.

Turn off the iPhone now, go back to the main menu of Redsn0w and select the first item Just Boot from the Tools menu.

Your iPhone is now started. A baked pineapple on the iPhone display instead of the usual core boast signals: The jailbreak was successful. Tip: If you're experiencing problems during or after the jailbreak, use the iTunes backup to restore the saved system.
