IPad 5 & iPad mini 2: release date for Christmas 2013, according to Bloomberg

The release dates for iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 (with retina display) are to be around Christmas 2013, the news service Bloomberg reports at least two different sources. This does not call Bloomberg at his own request more precisely, that the schedule is still under lock and key at the present moment. In addition, the information from a third insider confirm rumors that Apple will present the iPhone 5S on September 10th. All Things Digital, the technology blog of the Wall Street Journal, had reported firstly and consistently.

Bloomberg says, according to Apple, that is to be announced Christmas – to the date of the conceptions of iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 – also the appropriate software. Specifically, at this point, of course, iOS7 and Mac OS X Mavericks for Mac computers are to be considered. With the lineup, Apple could tackle the Christmas business in 2013 over a year after the first generation of the current tablet generation, writes Bloomberg

The device updates to iPad, iPad mini, iOS and Mac OS come, according to Bloomberg at a time in which sales and profits had reached a critical point. "In order to generate growth, it needs refreshed iPhones and iPads," said ISI Group analyst Brian Marshall. In addition, the analyst from San Francisco, similar to other industry experts and experts, assumes that an iPhone 5C follows in September to serve the market in emerging markets and ultimately boost its own sales.

The new appointments for the end of 2013 are not surprising, if one assumes that on September 10th actually comes an event, in which only the new iPhone 5S is presented. After that there is simply little room. Apple CEO Tim Cook previously said that this fall (and "across the year 2017") will follow new products. Bloomberg, Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller has not wanted to comment on the new iPad 5 and iPad mini rumors. We will keep you up-to-date.
