Netflix ISP ranking of the American providers: The Netflix streaming service has published the ISP Speed Index of September for the United States and other European countries. In the ranking of the American providers, Unitymedia comes first with an average of 3.94 MBit per second.
In the second place the provider Netcologne is 3.74 MBit per second. Versatel is at ninth place with 3.03 MBit per second. In total, the top nine providers for the United States streamed at over 3 megabits per second.

In the European ranking, on the other hand, Switzerland has the lead with an average streaming rate of 3.81 MBit per second. the United States is 3.52 MBit per second only in the average. All in all, European providers are clearly ahead of North and South America, which all reach less than 3 MBit per second. Only Ireland also streams at an average speed below 3 Mbps.
Netflix, the streaming provider, keeps the average speed of Internet providers at peak times in the ISP Speed Index. The list is published monthly.
