The Triggertrap app can also control the camera via WLAN or Bluetooth, but you also need a Bluetooth adapter for about 20 euros. Not only can the camera be triggered with the smartphone, but also some settings such as the shutter release, the shutter and the focus can be taken.

But even without this hardware, the app is exciting for iPhone users because it provides an HDR function for the integrated smartphone camera. Also face detection, time lapse and magnifying glass or the triggering of the camera by seismic movement detection, clapping and facial recognition folds thanks to Triggertrap. If desired, the app accesses the location and shoots again and again at defined intervals during the movement. The Android app does not have these features yet.

The app cost original 5 euros, but in the free version over fade-ins very quickly clear that the manufacturer hopes to buyers for the dongle. Nevertheless, the app is an enrichment for all who like to photograph with the iPhone. Android users have to hope that the extended features of the iOS version will also come for the Android app in later versions.
