What does AVM show at IFA 2017? The Berlin-based Fritzbox manufacturer uses the international radio exhibition in front of its own doorstep to present the latest devices. With the Fritz Powerline 1240E comes the suitable adapter for users who need a lot of bandwidth in larger buildings but do not want to lay cables or which the previous WLAN signal is too weak. The adapters transfer data via Gigabit connection and, if necessary, also build a WLAN.


Intelligent power outlet


Who is in a similar situation, but does not want to immediately put on Powerline, gets with the new Fritz WLAN Repeater 1160 a modern amplifier for its wireless network, according to AC standard funkt. With the Fritz WLAN Stick AC 860, there is also the right accessory to get old computers faster through the net.


Router and software


With the Fritz Fon C5, security-conscious users get a DECT phone, which supports multimedia content and online services. Language is not only transmitted in HD quality, but also encrypted. If you want, the C5 also controls music systems and its Smart Home. On the display, you can display images from an IP camera or door intercom system, for example.


If you want to control your technical equipment in the garden or on other land surfaces with Smart-Home technology, the Fritz DECT 210 is equipped with a smart socket for outdoor use. It is an outdoor version of the Fritz DECT 200. The new variant comes with splash protection and a temperature sensor.


In addition, AVM shows the Fritzbox 7430 optimized for IP connections, the Fritzbox 6820 LTE for connections over the mobile network and software updates for Fritz Apps and Fritz OS.


AVM will be at the IFA in Hall 17 to see the latest innovations on site. The trade fair will take place in Berlin from 4 to 9 September.
