The test results
The freeware plug-in Perspective Transformations is specialized in the correction of perspective distortions. In particular, when combining vertical and horizontal distortions, the plug-in plays its strengths: the user places a square in the image and gets a rectangular result.
Good: Corrects lens distortions by means of sliders with real-time preview - of course, users always have to hand themselves, since the software does not bring any lens profiles. In principle, the plug-in does the same as the new perspective release tool from Photoshop CS6 - and is as intuitive to use as well.
