Voice control: Cortana integrated with Windows 9 release

Windows 9 (Threshold) comes directly to the release with the language control Cortana: The progress in the development of Cortana seem to go very well. Neowin reports that Microsoft’s digital assistant is no longer in a development version but has now become a stable release candidate. In addition, Cortana’s performance continues steadily on the desktop, so the voice control can already be integrated into the release of Windows 9 (code name: Threshold).

Currently, Cortana is just an app that can be activated as needed. However, for the release of Windows 9, this should be changed and the wizard should be integrated deep into the operating system. The look of the Windows Phone look should remain.

However, Microsoft assumes that Cortana is not fully mature in the release of Windows 9 and is therefore planning to improve its functionality with regular updates. Microsoft announced to release at least two updates per month for Cortana.
