The two keyboards Corsair K70 RGB Lux and Razer Blackwidow X Chroma leave a very good impression in the test. The heavy metal housing offers a firm hold and the desk optics immensely. The RGB lights do the rest, and are configured quickly in both cases.
The Razer Blackwidow X Chroma convinces with the cable management and the overall high-quality processing. The driver offers many successful features, but interferes with online constraint. The keys themselves are high-quality and offer a great writing and gaming feeling. However, the volume, the dirtiness and the missing design disturbs us a missing handball.
The Corsair K70 Lux RGB is a little less high quality processed. This is among other things compared to cheaper buttons - which are however more dirt-repellent. For this, the existing handball rack and extras like USB port as well as the controls and the buttons for the volume and the media player are pleasing. This is more comfortable to use than with the FN key combination as with the Razer. The advantages of the K70 are that of the X Chroma, which is why, in our comparison test, it has its nose a little farther.
The two keyboards are very well suited for writers and players. With the K70, however, the buyer has the choice between three different switches that fit better with him. In the Razer, a separate switch (felt a mix of Cherry MX Red and Blue) was used, which combines the advantages of some switches, but in the long run it is rather annoying because of the volume - especially the fellow human beings.
