If all drives are identical, you can not afford to lose any of their weaknesses in order not to lose the test. The price is however very good: at least 40 euros less than the competition. Anyone looking for good quality at a low price should have access.
The fact that the "mother" of all DVD + RW burners - all DVD + R / + RW burners in the test are Ricoh drives - only landed in third place has several reasons: the access time when reading CDs is 120 milliseconds a bit Slow, the audio extraction rate with 20-times speed as well. The delivery is good, but not exceptional. These are only minor weaknesses, which the Ricoh drive in other areas can no longer compensate. Here, it loses some points, so there is no more than place three for the MP5125A-DP.
Exceptionally, however, is the price: At 359 euros, it is the cheapest burner in the test, and the 81 points. As a result, the DVD + R / + RW drive has the best price-performance ratio in the test and is therefore our specialty.
