The memory card is available with a maximum capacity of 32 gigabytes. The transfer of the media files works with peer-to-peer. This allows you to wirelessly access the video and photo files stored on the memory card in the camera using a mobile phone, tablet or PC. Thanks to “Internet Pass-Through”, this now works without an exclusive WLAN connection to tablet or smartphone. Thus, the mobile devices remain the Internet access so that one can get from the memory card on the one hand and can load directly to the Internet.
The new feature is also available for the recently introduced 8 GB and 16 GB flash cards of the speed class 10. The tool for the update process is available under this link. However, the update does not work for the first class 6 memory card generation.
Toshiba does not share Toshiba's FlashAir WLAN SD card with 32 GB. The 8GB version is currently available at market prices by 35 euros the 16GB version is around 72 euros.
