Part 2: Bluetooth solutions: finally funkt?

Due to the small size (5 cm long, 1.8 cm wide, 0.9 cm high) and the minimum weight (7 grams), the Acer Bluetooth USB Adapter can be carried everywhere: ideal for notebooks. A blue LED illuminates when the Bluetooth dongle is active. Sorry, this is not displayed when data is being transferred.

The Bluetooth-USB-Adapter for approximately 50 Euros supports the Bluetooth-1.1 standard and all common application profiles (GAP, SDAP, SPP, LAP, DUNP, FaxP, GOEP, FTP, OPP, SP). We were able to print, fax, synchronize and transfer data. The Bluetooth software purchased by Widcomm integrates with Windows Explorer and is thus intuitive for any Windows user. All functions of the adapter, such as searching for other devices, connecting to these devices, or copying files, are controlled from this environment.

The Bluetooth function expands Outlook and the send to menu. This allows you to send files from Windows to other Bluetooth devices without having to start the software. By integrating the Widcomm software in Outlook, contacts, appointments and calendar entries can be sent to any Bluetooth device via Bluetooth.
