Microsoft Surface 3: New Tablet expected from October

After Microsoft recently unveiled the Surface Pro 3, the production of the new Surface 3 tablet will start in August. This is reported by an anonymous source of a Taiwanese manufacturer against Digitimes.

Initially, the production of individual components is to take place, before the mass production of the tablets begins in September 2017. This suggests a market launch in October 2017.


Details about the new Surface 3 Tablet can only be speculated so far. Sure, only the 10.6-inch display. However, it is expected that the Surface 3 Tablet will follow the improvements and innovations of the Surface Pro 3.


This could make it lighter and thinner, and provide a longer runtime.
