In many places on the net, you may encounter short web addresses that start with bit.ly, goo.gl, or t.co, for example. This is followed by an online service, which automatically redirects your browser to the long web address that is stored for it when a short URL is called. This is handy because, in many places, short URLs make it easier to enter web addresses. However, they can also be misused, for example, to hide dangerous websites behind unsuspecting, short URLs.
3. Expand short URLs
It is therefore better to look at the long URLs behind short URLs before calling them. Simply copy a short URL to the clipboard and paste it into the CheckShortURL input field and click Expand.
