The possibility to have the location of the respective PC determined by Windows and to share with apps, some users is scary. If you now disable the “Position detection” function, this may be too far. Unlike many other settings, switching off will affect all users on your PC.

If you only want to protect yourself from the possible side effects of the location determination, then simply deactivate the position service.
