The new I-Tee shows that PC cases do not always have to be rectangular boxes. The name is a program, because the Midi tower case has the form of the letter “T” from the top.
The special feature is that the mainboard is mounted transversely on the rear wall and not on the right side of the housing, as with normal housings. The advantage of this method is that the motherboard can be much better reached, for example, to install new memory or another processor fan. The rear panel is simply flipped open for this purpose and the mainboard is completely accessible. However, the cables used should have a sufficient length. The I-Tee is available in ten colors and consists mostly of recycled aluminum. It is equipped with a powerful 400-watt power supply as well as two case fans and offers front connections for USB, microphone and headphones. On / off and reset switch as well as the front lights were however a little too small. All drives can be attached without screws.
The highlight: rubber brackets avoid vibrations and ensure a low noise level. The accessories are delivered in a smart bag instead of the usual cardboard box and includes IDE and floppy cables as well as cable ties.
