Sony Alpha 7SII, Aony Alpha 7RII, Canon EOS 5DS, Canon EOS 5DSR (clockwise).
The Canon EOS 5DS, the Canon EOS 5DS R and the Sony Alpha 7R II have already proved in the JPEG test the extraordinary detail that can be obtained from 50 megapixel or 42 megapixel full-format sensors. With images in the RAW format, the recordings gain further details and dynamics.
On the following pages, these megapixel bikes, together with the new 12-megapixel full-size Sony A7S II camera, will also be taken to the RAW test. In this case, we will play several scenarios with three differently set RAW converter settings (see test procedure) and compare the results with those of the corresponding JPEG tests.
