The Teac systems support files with the endings AAC, MP3, OGG, WMA, WAV and FLAC up to 24Bit / 96kHz. In addition, the devices can currently access some 14,000 Internet radios and optionally a variety of online music services. The FM-100 can also be used to connect a USB memory stick for FM receivers for FM reception.
In contrast to the WAP-AR100, the two AX models also have an integrated stereo full-amplifier in addition to the S / P-DIF digital-optical audio output. The WAP-AX100 can be emitted two times 50 watts of music power, the WAP-AX250 sounds with two times 125 watts. Volume, bass and treble can be adjusted directly on the device, otherwise the control is controlled via a remote control or a special VNC app for the mobile phone, regardless of whether it is an Apple, Windows Mobile or Android.
All three systems are now available at specialist dealers. The recommended retail price is € 400 for the WAP-AR100 and € 550 for the WAP-AX100 and 650 for the WAP-AX250.
